[Question] need help in a mt6582 phone

hello community
i have a mt6582 phone
i searched the name of it on the internet which is hero v5 didn't find anything the phone comes with android 4.4.2 that dosen't have a home screen instead when turn the device on it directly go to menu i think
here is an image to explain what i mean


as you can see no menu or apps button

im searching for a good rom that is compatible with my device anyone can help me plz what information needed ?

Hello! Welcome,

The pic you showed is a homescreen. There's just no apps drawer button there.

Install Nova from Play. [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]&hl=en . This will fix you up fine.

Don't bother with custom ROMs for a phone that you're not sure what you have. Actually, I never use custom ROMs anyways, but for sure don't go messing around with different ROMs when you're not 100% sure what model you're dealing with.

i understand the problem for me i can't use nova launcher
cuz the system i have has air gesture settings and when i use the air gesture while im at novo launcher it doesn't work

so is there any solution to get my air gesture to work with novo ??


i would love to install the new android 5 on the phone i have if i can

if there is an opportunity to do so can you help me ?

There is no Lollipop for your phone.

For your homedcreem problem, if you absolutely must have air gestures then try a 3rd party app from Play with Nova.

It is funny how people dont understand simple English it was mentioned , dont messed around with customs ROM on an unknown brand and only this OEM can give you an update to Lollipop version, which again it was mentioned "NO Lollipop update" since this is an unknown brand and if you screw up the firmware and with out the SpFlashTool firmware version , I presume the only thing to do is to make it into a book stand. For now why dont you try to backup your copy of firmware on your phone by using MTK DroidTool v 2.5.3.

and i already did a firmware backup for my phone using the mtk droidtool
