Hit the Google Play Store (or download the .apk) and install "Engineer Mode MTK Shortcut" by Go or "MTK Engineering Mode" by TheMonster.
Either should work just fine to get you rolling.

I couldn't remember what code to dial to enter Engineering mode so I decompiled Engineer Mode MTK Shortcut and got it.

This code works on my phone. Unfortunately there aren't hardware tests inside. No audio test, no microphone test. Only different obscure settings you can change after you read a lot about them.
I'm still wondering what other secret codes for Android Jellybean should definitely work for me too.

To enter test mode, from power off hold the volume button and power button. One way should bring you to recovery, the other should bring you to test mode.
If it doesn't work, test your components using various apps that utilize them. For example, to test the mic, make a phone call or a sound recording with a recording app.

Yes, I did. I had the list exactly from that page.
##147852 looked the most promising but after I dial ##147852 the phone acts as if I am in the middle of dialing a phone number, meaning it waits for more digits or to press Call button.
It's either like that or like I showed in previous video capture.
