[How-To] Do there exist rooter for Mpie MP-G7 ?

Hello !

I've tried some applications (apk and run.me) to root my MPie MP-G7 runnig with Androïd 4.4.2 but without success. The installed Basic Checker always shows "This device does not have proper root access".

Otherwise, all is well running...just two interrogations to have a happy Christmas :
1 - is there a rooter for my phone ? If yes, which is it ? and how to download it ?
2 - is the Basic Checker answer normal ? I have a doubt about the application grayed Device Management which has a size zero ... maybe it comes from the root of previous tests

There are a number of root tools in this forum: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] See the stickied threads, there are 8 root tools there.
Try each one until you find what works for you.

BTW, I just saw one post where the user got into a boot loop after rooting.
I'm not trying to worry you or be half-glass empty here. I just want to give you a heads up that apparently, that is a possibility. If you don't have a backup of your phone yet, it might be a good idea to make one before you try rooting.

You can also go ahead and create a CWM while you're at it. This can be used as a last resort if the 8 root tools won't work for you.

I will preserve the existing first before trying the 8 types of root
... and I also look upon the ultimate solution CWM.
I have to be patient and be wise not to damage my phone.

Time to realize all these tests step by step, I will come to you to keep you informed.

For the past 3 days now I have been trying to root my MPie G7. 2 different programs claim success, but still not rooted. Is it possible something on the phone automatically un-roots?

The most successful is SRS one click root, it claims success with root4b. But my phone is still rooted, trying other root apps...

(off topic) Also it seems this phone has 4g LTE, but not at 1700 I need here in USA. My electronic communications teacher says a firmware change can change the frequency. Anyone know about this?

I used the PC version of iRoot and I managed to root my smartphone! :-)

I used the PC version of iRoot too; anyway I have rooted my MPIE MP-G7 with MTK Droid Tools too.
