Almost impossible
instead of using the home button, u can use menu key to show the "recent open app"
1 - install "xpose", then install "gravity box" ( yr phone need to be rooted)
go to "gravity box", "Navigation keys action", "menu key" change the action for the long press
or use the pie control under the gravity box
or
download some gesture app. then just swipe up from the bottom of the screen(or any style/direction u predefined), then it will pop up
for example "swipe home button"

Nobody knows, if it SW or HW related. My home button started working properly, after flash to 1.0.5 from 1.0.4 and back, but after few days, the bug comes back, but with lower effect.
The bug dissapears completely, when you place phone on desk, but if you hold it in hand, it come back. But, if you hold phone horizontaly, holding him only on shorter sides, home button works again ok. I think, it has someting to do with gravity or magnetic sensor, maybe gyroscope. Or it has something to do with this
Because it survives complete reflash with factory ROM, the bug has to be inside NVRAM (maybe Lewa writes something into it). If someone from this forum can backup NVRAM on device with properly working Home button, we can load it inside devices with bug, replace IMEIs with ours, and maybe this can solve this problem.
Here is tutorial, how to backup nvram [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
If anyone has contact to original iNew manufaturer, we can write them, wheres problem.

Can you contact INEW manifacturer? I'm not able with english language. There are many people that have these problems.
But i don't remember, if i press home button what this open? App menu? And i've another problem with gps, it doesn't work. This bug can also depend from NVRAM?

well inew wont help you since flashing a custom ROM (like LeWa) voids your warranty.
my phone wont arrive for another 2 weeks so i cannot help either.
