Hi all,
Looking for some pointers on a phone for around $300 max.
Must have current Android OS/Security updates, and a good track record from the manufacture of delivering them long term across their products.
No Leagoo or Huawei.

Where do you live. Based on that criteria, I'd say Xiaomi, or if you need American bands, OnePlus 6 can be had for as cheap as $320 these days (6/64). That's a steal, but no SD expansion.

I am in the UK, but have bought from banggood before so do not have a problem going that route if need be.
