Agreed we need like an FAQ thread with everything we know so far, SDCard fixes etc , whos up for the task ?

Also , People having battery issues, Are you using stock battery or thl battery ?

I have very light use on the phone (50% mobile standby & 50% phone idle), and I've noticed that this FW drains the battery much faster than 1.0.8. With 1.0.8, I can last 2-3 days without a charge, but with this FW, I'm down to red in 30hrs or so. I'm using stock battery. Any ideas how I can extend the battery life? (While still staying with KK)

Since i resolved the media problem:
Since last charge Used 22% in 17h 5min. Is is more than enough for me. But to tell the truth this was a light day in mobile usage.

please tell me how you solved the media problem thanks

In one line i formatted my SD card with my PC. That was the solution.

Wesley have you found a fix for the gps problem, mine doesn't work either. I have the 35512 version btw in case it's a driver problem.

I didn't have any media process draining power. Plus, I don't have a SD card in the phone anyways. What's the life expectancy of the battery if the phone is on standby only? Is it 30 hrs?

Can you try something? Can you put another SIM card in your mobile, and re-try ?
Had same issue , and was SIM Card problem. SIM Card was blocking the GPS!
At Settings -> SIM Managment -> SIM -> Enter phone number has the option to insert the number of your SIM. Was trying to insert is , but was always unsuccessful!
So, i changed the SIM card, accepted to enter phone number, and GPS worked asap! Dunno why this happened, but was 100% SIM conflict my GPS issue.
( With 1.0.8 , 1.1.1, tsunami etc didn't had that issue. Appeared with 4.4.2. )

Hi All,
Ive installed the .13 stock version with twrp. It rooted itself, ART works, rom smooth.
Gps was problematic but after I set to only gps and made cold start in ygps it had the sats after a while. Now it works with only gps or with agps too, but the only gps version is more stable.
There is only one issue, it happens the screen goes off for a half seconds and comes back. When it happens it occure 2-3 times in a serie.
Does anybody hav experienced same?

Hi Bro's,

I have installed the ROM as per the instructions provided, first flashed using Flash tool & then the rooted ZIP file using the recovery. Everything is working fine (including GPS)

First of all thanks for making it possible to use the KK in the very first batches of V3.

My observations are,

1. Earlier through the flipcover window we can see whom we are calling & viceversa, but now it doesn't work
2. Earlier when i choose the Slide as my lockscreen security option, the screen will be locked as soon as close the flipcover and for few seconds it will show the quick notifications (Missed call, Messages & date , time) and when i open the flipcover the lockscreen will appear and i'll unlock it.

Now the notifications becomes active without problems, but when i open the flipcover the screen unlocks on its own ( I am using slide as my unlock option) .

I think we have problem related to proximity sensor files.

3. Earlier i am using Link2SD and partitioned my SD card and it was working very well. But now in KK Link2SD is unable to find the second partition. FYI, i have tried to format the SD card & freshly created the partition still no luck. I have used Fix in the Xposed modules for KK SD card writing issue.

Could you pls look into?
