Does the phone boot when pressing power for a few seconds? I understand you can only get to the boot menu.

I mean, can you normally put power to the phone by pressing power for just a few seconds?

Make sure the phone has been powered on. Then powered down (phone off). And pressing volume up when connect to USB.
