Crush, welcome to the forums, man.
I want to try to better quantify your question. Basically, I view you as asking this:
Is the i6000 battery capable of the following scenario with reasonable margin?
- 45 hours of standby with WiFi / 3G on
- 1 hour of streaming video
- 2 hours of active screen-on time with casual web surfing / messaging
- 0.5 hours of talk time
Has anyone tried similar to see what the drain on battery is? I think the biggest culprit here is going to be the streaming video.
Being that it appears your wife's usage habits are mostly standby, you might really benefit from installing an app like "DS Battery Saver". This app duty-cycles the 3G/WiFi while the screen is off to help maximize battery life during that time.
In any case, good luck!
