Okay... I've done several tests and combinations of options to try to solve the "no notification" problem with the Koobee P1S.
Some configuration work for a while but after some time has passed (eg. 30/60 mins) notification are not shown again.
With this configuration notification are received all the time (at least on my terminal):
Note: I'm using Huber7052 modified Dido OS and also removed the residual bloatware and Pepsi launcher. I didn't tried with the stock OS version but I think should work aswell.
1) Go to Settings ->Security -> Auto-start management and activate apps that you want to use with notifications
2) Go to Settings ->Security -> PureBackground and activate apps that you want to use with notifications (I found that entirely deactivating the "Purebackground" option (first slide) results in app getting closed in background after a while, so keep it active and activate the apps).
3) Go to Settings->Battery e make sure "Standby intelligent power saving" is ACTIVE. Disabling this will make you loose notifications on the long run.
4) Go to Settings->Sound & notifications ->Notification->App notifications and enable notification on the app you need.
That's it: with this configuration I'm having no problems with notications. I've tried other combinations (es. disabling everything) but with my terminal didn't quite worked.
The only downside is that after a reboot you have to manually start at least 1 time the applications that you want to use with notifications.
I hope this Dido OS will get replaced soon with a different ROM.
Bye
Nicola
