I've never rooted a phone before, let alone installed a custom ROM. Unfortunately she's already grown to love her S7589. Prying the phone back away from her to potentially break (er... upgrade) it would be like trying to take a steak away from a famished rottweiler. Ain't happening.
I might have to get one of these puppies for myself so I can have free reign with it, *THEN* give it away after I get everything working. Or not.
So many options. So very many options. I feel like a junkie already.
I certainly love the comparison
Believe me, my friend, nobody here or anywhere else was born w/knowledge of how to root phones or install ROMs. We live, we ask questions, we learn.
You can get either S5789 or B6000 for under $200 now, not too much to pay for a new toy, besides, it can be the spare phone.
I can talk to God on this phone, but I don't have anything to say.
