I will second the Xiaomi Mi series. Good turn-key solid experience, great build reputation and support - it's tough to go wrong with the Mi series.

I'm also a fan and owner of multiple THL devices and have never been disappointed with reliability or build quality for the price point.

Which frequencies do you require, out of curiousity?

It would seem another frustrated Elephone user has been created... I personally crossed that company off the list ages ago.
