I've had the V3plus for about 2 weeks now and using Antutu V5, i only get around 20K.
I compared scores. and my CPU Scores are Approx 40% lower than the review post. GPU is spot on. already turned off the limiter from the Battery settings. i'd really like to have that extra 40% ;-)
It's not possible to get higher performance from the CPU when it's clocked at 1.4 GHz. It would be possible if you used a custom kernel and overclocked the CPU to the usual 1.7 GHz but at a huge cost to battery life. I also doubt if you can get custom kernels for this phone.
Bottom line is that you can only get about 20K points on AnTuTu with the V3 plus configuration. The model that got the scores on the screenshots must have been a pre-production model - those are usually configured differently than retail models. Note that the device on the screenshot is CXQ V3A but retail versions are shown as V3 octa-core in AnTuTu. I have a hunch that the phone in the screenshots had different a kernel/firmware hence the similar performance to the full MT6592.
I would agree, however, the screenshots also show his CPU speed. 728-1365.
The firmware though IS different. The review unit is a V01 firmware. I have the V06.
