Have you made a backup of your phone? If you haven't, even if it's bootlooping, you should still make a backup. Having at least some backup is better than none.
When you say you can get to ASR, do you mean you can get into recovery mode?
Are you using the stock recovery, or TWRP, or CWM?
While you're in recovery mode, wipe your Dalvik cache as well. (Have you done that already?)
My guess is that if it happened while trying to root it, you may have some file permissions setup wrong. If you have CWM installed, they have a "fix permissions" option.
The biggest thing you can do overall is try to find the correct ROM for your phone. You may have to ask the seller if they can get a hold of it. Otherwise, you're stuck flashing anything that might be remotely close to get it to work.
