Thanks a lot for your time. Really appreciate it. I tried the engg mode, Mobile Uncle. But I do not know how to save the new IMEI in there.
After entering new IMEI # in Step 6, I am wondering how to save the new IMEI number in Engg mode. Please help. Hitting on Engineer Mode – Engineer Mode (MTK) – Connectivity(Tab) – CDS Information – Radio Information – Phone 1 – AT+ to AT+EGMR=1,7,”New IMEI#” – SEND AT COMMAND(Button)
Getting the message “This command is not allowed in UserBuild” … and old IMEI stays.
WIll wait for your video. But steps u provided seems clear and clean. Will try Droid Tools. I already have root access. Only the new IMEI I should enter. I will try and get back to you at the earliest.
