IF G4S use Goodix Touch panel (GT9xx serie) there is something you can do to revert to original parameters, otherwise what i start to write now is not useful

the GT9xx controller has an internal eeprom to store firmware and parameters, controller don't upgrade the parameters if version of new parameters is not greater than actual.
you should ask to someone else with a working G4S to use the app GTPTool to save his working parameters, change version number, then you can load into your phone.
