Android 4.2.2 is not a stripped down version of android. In my experience, it is the most common variant of Jelly Bean I have seen.
It looks like there is an update for your phone to bring it to 4.4.2 on NeedROM. Link can be found here:
Of course, before flashing please please please do all the reading you can so you know what you're doing. Even more important PLEASE make a backup of your phone before flashing. Because this is the only firmware I see on NeedROM for your phone, having a solid backup of the factory firmware is going to be invaluable.
