can I also add to the wise words by mirandam that for some trying to root their phone.....they may need to read the rooting forum,
they may need to install a custom recovery to "update" chainfire's zip file,
---so CWM forum may come into play
they may need to flash that custom recovery using flashtools
--so MTK general tools may come into play
they may need to read Linux corner if they use Linux and can't use Windows

Which is a long way of saying exactly what she said which is to read the forums.
