Hi
I am still new to Android. I bricked my first phone doing naughty things.
If I was an Australian politician my excuse would be "It was an honest mistake"
I have been a long time Linux user from 2001 but have no qualifications or programming languages and also still have a 2G RAM PC with an 80 G drive
----which me thinks is not quite up to spec to compile AOSP.
I am now retired but found this to be a friendly forum and as I like to save money by buying Chinese Android(s).....it was a given that I would find my way here.
In Linux speak, I run Debian sid with a Liquorix kernel and Enlightenment desktop. As sid is unstable I try to keep out of trouble by running an update script called smxi.
I am not a hard core follower of the Debian software stance on open source. I drive a car that is branded which includes a computer which is not open source. However, I have from time to time supplied wikis howtos etc at various Linux forums.
cheers and good luck
