Glogiiiiiii. I guess I'll say it again. MP has nothing to do with quality. I'll take a good quality 1mp over a crappy 20mp any day.

It looks like they might have interpolated the resolution also, but I can't say for sure. They don't look too bad. Just don't zoom too much.

You should be able to install keyboards without root, but if you want to root, you can try to root with the MTK6589 root thread in Root/ROM/Hack. Let us know if you succeed so we can add it to the list.
