within this script, you can switch init.rc with init2.rc (another init.rc with changed mountpoints), depending on the selected boot option.
after the init.rc files are switched, you can execute an init2 script, which just replaces your init script with the init_orig, and then executes the binary.
I prefer to flash kernels, you can use any method you like though.
If you use my scripts or work in your own scripts, your scripts or license should reflect that.
