Check if you have Facebook notification on. Turn it off if on and check if it goes to deep sleep. Facebook notification or any other push mail notification prevents phones from going to deep sleep.
Change the WiFi setting from Always on to only when connected.
And last but not least:
Set the phone to GSM Auto (PRL) in phone settings. Dial this code in the default phone Application:

Scroll down and select GSM Auto (PRL) instead of WCDMA preferred.
Your phone is still doing H+ and everything, but it will stick to your phone contract provider (using their provided list) to connect to the network. With WCDMA preferred, the phone simply checks everything that is on the air and then decides, not that is not for me and checks for the next connection if it has a hard time finding a network.
Plus you need to perhaps do a Cache and Dalvik Cache reset. Never hurts.
