u can try as Gizbeat suggesed, try to use the root suggestion in the forum

try as many as u can to see if u can get it rooted.

i had a viewsonic view pad, the storage is almost same as yours.

that is what i did,
root the phone
install app2sd
install app from play store
move the app to sd

then u should be able to install at least 50 app (or a liitle bit more) to the phone again.
