Vernee Apollo X - OTA UPDATE REPOSITORY


- INTRODUCTION :

The purpose of this thread is to collect all the OTA updates in one place.
The goal is to share all the OTA updates with you.
This is a way to bypass the absolute need of the phone in order to install an OTA.
So starting now, forget about your phone to download an OTA.
You can get whatever OTA update directly from the repository.


- PRELIMINARY FORM - FUNDAMENTAL :

The starting point absolutely must be the next version of the stock rom :

STEPS TO FLASH THE STOCK FIRMWARE :

1) Download the next version of SP Flash Tool :

2) Turn off your phone.
3) Open SP Flash Tool.
4) Load the scatter file inside stock firmware folder.
5) Select FIRMWARE UPGRADE option.
6) Click Download.
7) Connect your phone to the pc with USB cable.

Sometimes SP Flash Tool returns an error.
It is rare, but it could happen to you.
DO NOT WORRY !
Disconnect the USB cable from pc.
Click Download once again.
This time everything will works well.

8) Be patient until the flash process will be finished (100%).

9) Disconnect the USB cable.
10) Press power button.

Only when you have done that,
you will be able to download and install the zips inside the shared folder.


- GUIDELINES FOR INSTALLATION OF OTA ZIP

Please follow carefully all the next steps in order to install properly an OTA zip :

1) Download the OTA zip at the next link :

2) Unrar the OTA-year_month_day.rar
3) DO NOT unzip the update.zip
4) Copy the update.zip onto your microSD :



5) Turn off your phone.
6) Hit simultaneously volume up + power buttons.
7) Hit the volume up button to select Recovery mode :



8) Dead Android and red triangle error - NO PANIC



9) Hit simultaneously volume up + power buttons several times :



And just like magic, you just walked into Stock Recovery

Hit the volume up or volume down buttons to move between the options.
Hit the power button to select any option.

10) Select Apply update from SD card :



11) Select the update.zip onto your microSD :



12) Hit power button to start the installation process :



13) Select Wipe data/factory reset :



14) Select Yes -- delete all user data :



15) Select Wipe cache partition :



16) Select Reboot system now :

I have the stock rom with carliv recovery can I flash the update using carliv?
