ULEFONE TIGER MT6737 - TWRP and Roms


TWRP 3.0.2.1



CUSTOM RECOVERY INSTALLATION STEPS :

a) Tap on "Settings" -->"About phone" --> "Build number".
b) Tap 7 times on "Build number".
c) Tap on "Developer option" and enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging".
d) Download the next version of SP Flash Tool :

e) Download the TWRP 3.0.2.1 at the next link :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

f) Unrar it --> copy the "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.79-20161211114519.zip",
and paste it into your microSD.
g) Turn off the phone.
h) Open SP Flash Tool, load the scatter file and click on Download.
i) Connect your phone to your pc with USB to start the flash process.
j) When it finished, press "volume up" and "power" buttons simultaneously.
k) Select the first white line with volume up.
l) Press volume down to confirm.

THE NEXT STEPS ARE VITAL (to reboot your phone in normal mode)

m) Tap on "INSTALL".
n) Tap on "Select Storage" and tap on "Micro SDCard".
o) Tap on "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.79-20161211114519.zip"
p) Swipe to confirm Flash.
q) When installation is finished, swipe to reboot.
r) Be patient.
s) Tap on SuperSU icon to activate it.
t) Install "Quick Reboot Root.apk" (inside the rar) to reboot into twrp.
u) Enjoy.

What else is new ?

1) Magisk-v10.2.zip (The Universal Systemless Interface).

2) xposed-v87.0-sdk23-topjohnwu.zip (Xposed Framework systemless).

3) XposedInstaller_by_dvdandroid_26_11_16.apk (new Xposed installer).

4) phh-superuser-topjohnwu-r2.zip (OpenSource SuperUser).

5) phh's SuperUser v1.0.3.3.apk (for integration to the phh-superuser.zip).



WARNING :

After the flash of the TWRP custom recovery,
DO NOT INSTALL "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.79.zip" inside the twrp rar !


INSTALLATION STEPS :

1) Download the "Ulefone_Tiger_V2-Mod.zip" at the next link :

2) Copy & paste "Ulefone_Tiger_V2-Mod.zip" into microSD.
3) Reboot into twrp custom recovery.
4) Make a full backup of stock rom (Boot, System and Data) into microSD.
5) Make a backup of NVRAM separately into microSD.
6) Tap on "Wipe" (main screen of twrp).
7) Tap on "Advanced Wipe".
8) Select Dalvik/System/Cache/Data/Internal Storage BUT NOT Micro SDCard.
9) Swipe to Wipe.
10) Return to the main screen of twrp.
11) Tap on "Install".
12) Tap on "Select Storage" and tap on "Micro SDCard".
13) Tap on "Ulefone_Tiger_V2-Mod.zip".
14) Swipe to confirm Flash.
15) When installation is finished, swipe to reboot.
16) BE PATIENT 8 minutes (Ulefone boot logo).
17) Tap on the black icon of "Superuser and tap on the 3 dots :



18) Tap on the icon of "Magisk Manager".
19) Enable Superuser Request :



20) This is the main screen of Magisk.



21) Do not worry about SafetyNet Failed.
Now I am going to try to explain this error :

a) download "SafetyNet Helper" from the store.



b) Run SafetyNet test.



c) Response validation: fail.



d) Tap on the 3 dots. Github will explain you the cause of the error.



22) Return to Magisk main screen and tap on "Settings".



23) Enable BusyBox and reboot the phone.



24) Tap on the icon of "Xposed Installer". Everything works well.



ASAP I will post a thread about "Magisk", "Xposed systemless" and "phh's SuperUser".

l) Enjoy.

Fingerprint not working ! what to do ?

Hi Guys, I recently bought a Ulefone Tiger on banggood. I'm from Canada and unfortunately that phone is not working here with the Canadian cellphone provider. Is that a software (Rom) problem or Phone Chipset? Is that possible to make this phone works internationally? Thanks in advance for your help!
