This has been tried by several in China with negative results, causing errors and a brick. I believe one person was successful, but his camera not working.
Though many people believe these to be an exact 1:1 clone, I'm not sure it's the case...

man that sucks. There is alrewady a fair amount of interest on the Zopo at the CDA forums, but basically none about the H7500+

Yea... I know... A bit depressing. I was hoping they would have the exact same everything inside. It's still possible it was an issue with replacing the stock firmware...They come with different OS.. h7500+ reports 4.1.2, zp800h is 4.1.1. 7500+ also reports 12mp camera, but I think that's bull.
So my point, MAYBE they have the exact same hardware, but it was an issue with how the these people replaced the ROM. All I know is that several people reported issues... From errors, to camera not working... etc...
Even if the hardware isn't the exact same, perhaps some smart 7500+ owners can make slight mods to the zp800h updates to get them to work 100% on the Hero.
I will try and read up a bit more on it, but trying to decipher those Chinese forums makes my head hurt...

That could be it. It's never a good idea to go backwards in Android versions... it usually leads to a lot of problems

here is the link... they're also talking about Taiwan101 zp950h ROM being applied to 7500+, but I can't make enough sense out of it.
I know there is a facebook Taiwan101 with zp950h root and ROM, as well as some pictures with 7500+ with a Taiwan101 ROM

I was just reading that. Am working on it rooting it now. I've found the newest 4.1.2 software. In China it's called the MX56 and a version of the ROM just came out 3 days ago.

False alert on this... I just installed the MX56 ROM (not zp800h ROM)... It's not any newer than the stock 7500+ ROM. Though it does add a fancy splash screen while booting

False alert regarding the ZP800H ROM.
First of all, it's 4.1.2, not 4.1.1 as reported by needrom.
Second of all, it seems to be working fine. No major issues that I see. Camera taking pictures fine, but having an issue with the images being updated to gallery properly. I'm sure easily enough fixed. Wi-fi connecting. The auto-brightness issue remains.
My opinion here is not to bother with either the current (ie, as of this post) MX56 or zp800h ROMs. They are very likely the exact same except for a bit of branding. I see no advantage to switching unless you just like screwing around, but all that will change is the boot logo and the background
