I rooted my Teca t806s tablet, MT6735 running lollipop 5.1, without a computer using latest kingroot (or was it kingoroot don't remember) if one doesn't work try the other. It failed first time then rooted on 2nd try.

I have a Hasee P8 (MT6735, 2G+16G，5.5 FHD， Android 5.1）. it is OK to root with kingroot ( R04-20160408 version）．but it is strange that it cannot root June 2016 version.

Kingroot does not work. The app crashes all the time

I have rooted my Intex Aqua Ace phone with mt 6735 and lollipop with the latest Kingroot app from XDA Developers - Thanks to XDA for their work. You can go and have try.
