Hello Noudledeen20,
I haven't seen CWM yet for this model.
You don't need Ubuntu to make CWM.

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth

Oh now I see but I don't even understand the tutorial yulypis put up. If someone makes a cwm for this phone can they put a link to it here. And one more question, is anyone having a problem with GPS location on the hdc s4? Because mine isn't able to find my location even though it was enabled. Someone please reply. Thanks.

Lol I'm sorry but is there a reason why noone replies? This is the only site where I can find people with the same phone. I just want to know if anyone knows how to fix the GPS problem.

Go to the location settings, enable GPS, tap on the gps toggle to get the menu for enabling additional gps features, enable both AGPS and EPO and update the EPO data.
Download the "GPS status" app, start it, leave your phone outside for 20 minutes and check if you have a fix.
If you still can't get a fix after trying that, then you probably have some sort of problem with your phone..
