[Tutorial] How to flash gapps / install update from SD

Thank you for the clarity of these explanations. I was able to follow and execute.

The Phone is rooted.
I created a CWM using MTK Droid R&T 253.
I then used MobileUncle to do a RECOVERY UPDATE and insert the CWM. Then reboot in RECOVERY MODE - as I cannot using the VOL+Power+Home... That only takes me to "Factory mode"
Once in Recovery Mode, I could install the gapps zip.
I tried several, from 4.1.1 to 4.2.2.
However, not all the apps install. And when I check after reboot, there are many problems with Gmail, Play Store, G+ : they open&close immediately.

So, since this is a chinese clone, is there a set of rules somewhere that I need to wipe so that the Gapps can correctly install ?

I have been modding Lenovo Vibe 2.0/1.5 ROMs for nearly 2 years now but most of Vibe ROMs dont have GApps . This is what I can tell you all there is a lot more files to be added to to make any China only version phone to work well with GApps.
You have to add some files there are missing in "lib" folder and sometimes those files are a "name" duplicate with GApps.zip but it can only work with its own version and cannot be replaced with the GApps version (most of it). see the pictures to illustrate the mod that is required to make China fimwares to be 100% WW/ROW compatible (this is an example only) .
And you will also faced problem of small system partition made by some manufacturer that can cause your phone not to boot up at all , if you cramped the sysytem/app foder with additional GApps.. You will first have to root the the phone and "root uninstall" unnecessary apps from system /app folder (like for example Lenovo likes to put in 4 -5 Weather related apps wallpapers/server /weather/wallpaper chooser apps for weather) and the Youyue app (dont know what it is). UC Browser plus their stock Browser and sometimes Chrome Browser (which in its basic version is already 25 Mb). that is why you will firsthave to check partition/directory size before even attempting to "forced feed" GApps into your phone especially clones. Check the pictures below to see about 50% of the work to be done to make it AOSp compliant. There are others small files to be checked all over the system apsrt from theses and theyARE NOT the same from one model to another as some of them have already includede their own version of files which onlyworks on their phones but having the same generic name as the GApps original fies.
I had modified A880/A889/S939/A8-A5500 Tabs successfully but all I can say they all have to tailor made to get it right.
