New 4.4.2 firmware 1.0.13

Battery life is awesome, but I could never get the GPS to work.
GPS is very important to me, so I might have to just change phones, it's a pity though as this phone has everything I want in a phone, all except the non-working GPS.

Hard to find a phone with similar or better specs at the same price range.

Where do you live , I will dish you out a correct GPS conf and tell you the steps to fix your signal!

My GPS.conf should be correct, in mobileuncletools it shows the status as unavailable though...

It sees 13 dummies easily, but never connects.
Tried GPSLOCKER and FasterGPS, tried the hot/full restart in MobileUncleTools. Nothing works.

Hi All,
Ive installed the .13 stock version with twrp. It rooted itself, ART works, rom smooth.
Gps was problematic but after I set to only gps and made cold start in ygps it had the sats after a while. Now it works with only gps or with agps too, but the only gps version is more stable.
There is only one issue, it happens the screen goes off for a half seconds and comes back. When it happens it occure 2-3 times in a serie.
Does anybody hav experienced same?

Yes Mate. Same happens to me I had before 10 stock same, now 13 same. Don't sure if its hardware or software issue :-(

As I remember I have LG LCD, and you?

Has something to do with AGPS and GPS cooperation. Like something block them to cooperate and lock the satellites.
Dunno what it is, but i i fixed it with removing the SIM that created that dysfanction.

Solid explorer? Use ES explorer or root explorer, check that you have root enabled , mount system r/w (click next to the root on-off switch) and set permissions to 644 (rw-r-r).
Then it will work!

I did all that using ES explorer and MT GPS and nothing changed. I'm in Poland and have gps.conf set accordingly, as I wrote a few posts back. I also left the phone outside with GPS locker on for a few hours and followed other suggestions. Nothing.

I think I might have a faulty antenna, but in 1.0.8 with GPS fix it at least saw some sattelites and occasionaly got a fix (although very inaccurate), so it has to be also a software thing.

I tested all 4.2.2 Rom, and very, very hard I got a GPS signal, and then I came back and stayed in v 1.0.7. and on her GPS works great without any other files or GPS fix applications. See this thread [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] This means that we have the same phone, and if not work on 1.0.7 then it's probably a hardware problem. I repeatedly wrote that a long time I use version 1.0.7 and have no problems with GPS.Install it, and see if it's better or not.

Have you done this? I think I will try it.

EDIT: The antenna is soldered to the motherboard, not that easy to fix if it is a bad connection in the middle..
