Hello again,

I have generated/adapted a "new" ROM for the Lenovo A850s based on the uploaded Original ROM from Pocaropa. (v. 06.06.2014)

All nessessary Files you can Download here:

Questions:
1. Is your Phone rootet and proper USB-Driver installed?
Answer: Do it with Framaroot 1.9. (check third Item and reboot!)
USB-Driver you can download on my Link!

2. Have you installed CWM-Recovery?
Answer: Download the CWM Images and flash it with MobileUncle Tools. You can flash it with SP Flash Tools with the patched Boot images. Use your Scatter generated by MTK Droid Tools - check only boot.img and recovery.img.

3. Make a backup from your Phone with CWM. Be sure, that you have checked SDCard under Settings/Storage!

In MobileUncle App there is a boot to recovery!

4. After your Backup is finished switch your Phone off.

5. Your Phone has RAM, Internal- (only 1GB) and Phone-Storage. The Problem is, that the Items would not displayed correctly. Only Root-Explorer and Storage Analyser shows the correct Sizes. Your Phone-Storage is displayed with 7,9GB - but only 1,7GB is available.
So, i say to me, the Phone-Storage is bad - you can´t install any Apps. Then I changed this - and gave the 1,5GB to internal Storage. The internal Storage has yet 2,5GB to install apps. The Phone Storage was decreased to about 120MB. Displayed is after the change 7,9GB also. I don´t no why. O.K. The two Apps show you the correct size.

6. Flash the changed ROM. Make a Folder on D:\ ! ( Lenovo or A850s)
Download the ROM and MTK DroidTools and SP Flash Tools v.5 and place it in this Folder. Extract it.

Switch your Phone off. (Before you checked USB-Debugging on Phone is on!)

Start in the extracted SP Flash Tools Folder v.5 and run FlashTools.exe as Administrator! (Right click on the File)

Select my Scatter-File - included in the extracted ROM. Check all Boxes and select Firmware Upgrade. Before you checked the DA/DL Box. See Pictures!

Pull out the Battery from your Phone and disconnect it from PC. Then select Download. Proof before, that Firmware Upgrade is displayed!!

After click on the dowload Button, connect your USB Cable to PC and quick put the Battery inside.

You must see some color lines - blue, grey and green. The Flash from the new ROM start with yellow. After Flash, the Programm check the Flash Progress. If all is correct, you receive a small Box with a green Circle. You can disconnect your Phone an close the Back Cover.

Press Power & Vol + together for about 10sec. You are in Recovery.
Select Wipe menue and wipe only cache. With swype from right to left you go back

Touch Backup - Advanced Restore and restore only User Data. When finished you go back and reboot Phone. It takes a while. If received damaged Phone Storage or so, tap on the Message select Format. The Phone Storage (about 120MB) will be formatted!

Voila you are in the newer ROM with more Internal Space.

when you received the ROM, is there any Information about the Phone Manufacturer?

The Phone is not a Original Lenovo. No Original ROM works. I have tried about 10-12 diff. ROM´s from Lenovo. Only the AOSP-ROM works after I changed the boot.img in the ROM. The ROM is not bad - but CAM and Device-Button doesn´t work. That´s the reason to go back to Original.

Please tell me after Flashing the new ROM how it works!

When received phone no información about manufacturer. Build.prop info was fake, this shows lenovo a850s+. Only manufacturer ALPS seems to be real. I change it to ALPS A850 in build prop in order to open a dispute with seller. Ser this:

Note addscore antutu 12000 and cputype fake add lines.

I am not in home. When come back I Will flash tour ROM and reporte resulta.

thanks for your answer.

The link with the build.prop is the same like my ROM from 08.May 2014.
The new ROM are from 06.Jun 2014. Change only the new build.prop.

In the new ROM I have a GPS Icon!

Install after flashing ROM Framaroot/ Quickboot and Busybox from SDCard. Read my Post #39. This is a new Rom and has no Root. After install and reboot you have root and you can check it with Rootchecker!

Touch 7x on Build Number in Settings - over the Phone. Then you are Developer and you receive a new Item Developer Options!

flash the new ROM from #32. Please read carefully the Instruction from my post. Make before flashing a CWM Recovery Backup! If not you have to install your Apps again. In my ROM is the CWM Recovery included. Install Quickboot/BusyBox and Framaroot App from my download and copy the apps to your SDCard in the root. Then you can install it after flashing the ROM!
Download the ROM and all Files/Apps/ Programs from my Link!

When finished you have Baseband. May be no IMEIs. Under the Battery you have the first IMEI. Change for the second the last digit or better use your Original second IMEI and flash/restore it with MTK Tools 2.53. Then reboot and it will work.

read my Post #32 & #39. If you don´t flashig the new ROM Replace&Backup the IMEI´s. Look at the 3rd Picture in Post #39.

Listen: Your Phone must be rootet to Restore&Backup the IMEI´s. Read in Post #32 how to root your Phone with Framaroot App v1.91.
