I have the same phone i2000 with android 4.2.2
I tried to make a backup with mtk droid tools.
It gave me some errors and the result was almost 1 GB backup,
seems to big for a rom backup or is this possible or normal?
If I share this rom are there not to many personal data in it?
What about my imei numbers? Is it wise to post a personal rom?
I will give it a new try, hopefully without any errors, next weekend.

Hello Ljp,
Sorry someone didn't get back to you sooner. Welcome to the forum.
It's not too abnormal for such a large backup. Often with these backups it reads the entire area so contains a ton of blank data. That being said, the MT6582 and MT6592 backups from MTK Droid Tools have not been 100% reliable. What errors did you get?
There should be no personal data in this backup. You can check this by seeing if there is a file called usrdata in the backup. Normally there isn't any IMEI in an MTK Droid Tools backup either. Unless it's the NVRAM backup option specifically.
It's fine to post it without worrying about personal stuff contained in it.

What were your errors? i just backed up and restore a MT6592 with no problem.
My backup is 834 MB (875,040,269 bytes) so almost 1GB as well. below is a pic of the backup successfully installed on another MT6592.
