I think you may be trying to trick yourself. These are real pics of the phones taken directly from the respective official sites. If you want to sit and believe DG550 isn't a copy of iNew v3, that's your prerogative.

For god's sake, STOP IT!!! It does not matter, iNew is not even MT6592 based device.

Really, and that's how you want people to view you, OK. I won't respond to you anymore, I asked you to do the right thing, and you refused.

Do you think it is safe to test it?

You mean how people want to view you? That you think the Doogee DG550 isn't a copy of the iNew V3 . I have done the right thing. Those are real pics from the official sites. They even copied the exact positioning of the phones.

Vampirefo was referring to looks of the phone (correct me if I'm wrong). He even went on to say it was "trickery" and to post "real pictures of the phones".
Obviously they have different hardware, but in design they are not ^similar^ they are nearly 1:1. Yes, all phones do share some similar characteristics. They are all rectangular and such.
Let's not delude ourselves (or other who may be reading here) that Doogee didn't copy iNew V3. Nobody is saying it's wrong if they did. For all we know Doogee and iNew are owned by the same corporation. But please let's be realistic.

Again, you are wrong. They are not exact the same. I think the photos are not showing a big part of the back. There you would see that they are different. Again, there is no point to discuss that, because that is just a generic design for slim phones.

Wow really we are going to keep playing these games, post full back view of each phone.
I am looking at the backs of both phones, they are so different it's unbelievable, why this poster thinks they are the same, oh well.

Anyway testing the kernel if you know what you are doing is safe.

So in case the kernel will brick the phone, will it be possible to restore it back to stock? For example using sp flash?
