[Question] battery cuts out a 14%

Hi all.

Has anyone else been experiencing problems with their w200s cutting out when it hits around 14% battery?

Mine has done it a few times now for no obvious reason?

I am currently using the vanilla experience ROM and not sure if that could be the cause of it?

i own the phone for 10 days, overall very happy so far... Have only charged it 5 times so far but i had the problem you mentioned 2 days ago (at my last charge).
Specifically when my phone battery dropped bellow 15% it started going down quickly until at 9% (and with some usage all this time) it shutted down by it's own. It got me curious too as the battery was running slowly and evenly down all this time, but after the 15% mark it took not more than 10 minutes of usage before auto shut down...
Have only experienced this once as i do not like leaving my phone run low on battery (especially now that it's new) as it reduces the battery life span.

My phone runs on Stock rom (still).

Good. Stick with stock ROM. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, I recommend it.

I have a W200S. It does lose % rapidly from 15% down. It may not be that it's cutting out at 14%, but that it's running down so rapidly you don't see it. While staring at it one day, the phone went from 10% down to 1% in 10 seconds flat.

The % (and voltage) are just an estimate. Once li-ion batteries hit a certain voltage point, they lose power extremely rapidly. I'd recommend putting the phone on the charger when voltage hits 3.5.

To preserve battery life, you should do this anyway, regardless of the rapid loss of %. Though if you're not too concerned with that (as batteries are quite cheap), don't worry about it at all.

Thanks, i'll do that (stick with stock rom that is).
I know all the custom roms of the phone so far have bugs (for example the vanilla rom has a battery bug that down not allow it fully charge). Phone runs perfectly with stock so no need to change that anyway.
I have my phone rooted and with CWM recovery (with several backups to restore just in case i do something). The only rom i am expecting now is a kit kat 4.4 (ported or stock).
