we all can admit that listening to the music via earphones with inew v3 ... SUCKS!
Do you guys know any flashable Audio mod or any tweak app that can make the phone produce better sound quality while listening to music with earphones?
I tried these Audio mods and non of them work :
- Beats Audio
- eXtreameBeats Audio
- Pure Audio Engine
- sony xLoud
even Viper4rroid app doesn't affect the audio quality much.
is it something related to kernel??
or is it something related to the Hardware of inew v3??
is it related 3.5 mm jack hardware??
can we change that 3.5mm jack?

With viper4android (fx version) I notice really the difference (with stock player, others like poweramp with embed equalizer don't work) in the super quality mode. I also changed the last level of sound (the media one) under the mediatek engineer mode (inside the sound tab) to get more sound and a little less noise. You can play the song and go there and mix for the desire sound level :p

Danyo, have you try pushing the button on the headphones mic area while listening?

danyno1, i suppose you are not using the headphones that came with the iNew? because those are pretty bad.
i notice a big difference if using headsets with mic or without (and my headsets are all not of great quality) when listening to music on my laptop.
the headphones without mic are way better.
my phones current and past:
Brand phones:- Samsung Galaxy Apollo/Leo/3 - retired, 2x Samsung Galaxy S - gone, Samsung Galaxy Note - stolen , Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos - retired
- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy S4 black edition (work issue)
China phones:- Pinphone 3 (never received), Smarty A8 (MTK6515 HTC Chacha clone), iNew V3 - sold
- Xiaomi Redmi 1s - Wife's daily driver
- Xiaomi MI3 64GB with MagicSim on dual bootMIUI v5 (4.8.22) /CM11
Others: - ZTE Open (FirefoxOS) - now running ICS! -retired from duty.

I ordered my V3 mid Feb and still awaiting delivery :-(
My Xiaomi Pistons v2 have already arrived and sound AWESOME on my HTC HD2
Was really looking forward to using them on my iNew (if it finally arrives), but not so excited now considering above posts about audio problems

Don't get hysterical until you try for yourself. This is only one person experience. And he didn't report back about whether press the button or not. On some China phone headphones, the connection is not exact and the button needs to be pressed for proper sound.

The protocol is different. There are two (at least the last years)connection protocols right now.
The OMTP and the CTIA. It has been reported that there are inew v3 with OMTP but also there inew v3 with the CTIA protocol. So we cannot tell that the iNew V3 has this or the other type of connector.
If I remember correct the difference is the between the mic and the ground cable
EDIT: Here is a pic with the difference on the pinout of minijack

there are adapters available to change from OMTP to CTIA and vice versa if you experience problems.
you can also always use a plain headset without mic, that solves that problem.

If you are wondering where the button is and why it is working when you press it , the answer is that the phone is reading the resistance of the microphone and if this value changed to a specific number, then knows that this button is pressed. Other phones have multiple preset values of the resistance for more than one buttons. (there are headphones with volume adjust buttons etc)
So is you have wrong type it means that the ground does not go directly to the speakers but it goes through the microphone in series. The microphone has a resistance thats why the sound at the speakers are very low. When you press the button this value is changing (goes closer to 'O' ohms) so the volume at the speakers, increased.

hi guys.
sry i've been busy lately. sry that i cant reply each post individually.
just for giving some informations of my condition:
I'm using xiaomi piston piston v2 . and yes they are awsome pair of ear phones. but inew v3 doesn't produce good sound quality. viper4droid doesn't create big different.
the best audio quality that i've ever experienced is on sony walkman NW-B152F mp3 player.
this little guy produces amazing sound quality that beats every other player including ipod.
but when i say inew v3 sound quality is low, is not even 1/4 good as my mp3 player. it's below average.. .
i think it might be a hardware problem.. isn't it related to it's 3.5 mm jack?
