Can we use a different battery in the iNew v3?

The Zopo ZP980 battery looks very very similiar to our Inew V3 battery but as far i know they're only sold with a 2000mAh battery.

What are the dimensions of the iNew V3 battery? I know it is 3,8mm thick but the wide and lenght?

Yeah but i think those are not really precise.
But i found a battery from HTM M3 with the following specs:

BM41 3,8V Li-on charging 4,2 V 2600mAh (min/typ) 9,62 Wh (min/typ)



Matching these demensions: 7cm x 5,6 cm x 3mm

The HTM m3 is the iNew v3's little bastard cousin. Dimensions appear the same as v3. Difficult to believe it's truly 2600. But... The battery is cheap on Aliexpress. $11 shipped if anyone fancies a go.

panda just listed a 2500mAh for ampe phone which seems like inew in size... i might order it it looks to have same connector placement as ours.

Looks interesting, took my battery out, eyeballed the proportions, and ordered one to check it out. Will report back. Since it is Li-Po, the higher 2500mAh is feasible.

We do not know the dimensions of this battery and you cannot tell if it fits in iNew. Even a millimeter in difference won't fit. You should ask at the shop to tell you the size.
