[Question] Root for MTK6752 with Lollipop?

Has anyone successfully rooted an MTK6752 phone with Android 5.0 (or 5.1) Lollipop?

The only positive reference I could find was from a poster on 'Playfuldroid' who claims to have rooted a Ulefone Be Touch with Framaroot. However, several posters on x d a say that it doesn't work and I didn't find any corroboration that it does.

I am particularly interested in rooting the Siswoo Cooper i7, but as the Lollipop update was only released yesterday, I don't expect many people have tried to root it yet, although one poster on forum.siswoo.com has tried King root and iRoot without success.

Thank you, but unfortunately that post refers to 4.4.4. Strangely, the poster mentions that Kingo root didn't work for him but vRoot did. I had exactly the opposite experience with the same v1.3 ROM (Android 4.4.4) - vRoot didn't work but Kingo Root did.
