all of the things you listed I have done. I have been reading everything in the other post and all your suggestions to dhsider.
I have just tried with the new version of spflash, the driver u said and the rom you recommended.

The phone flashed ok in spflash.
the white screen with inew logo appeared and then black screen with nothing else.

I suggest you to try to flash different roms from here (maybe you'll find the correct one) :
