If you are looking for a method to build your own CWM, here are some options
These guides are written by members of the forum, not me. Credits to Sniper47, yulipis, Ranpha, and Louis777
Method 1.
To build CWM while unrooted, follow this method
After generating patched recovery, rename to recovery.IMG so SP Flash Tool recognizes it. Flash with only recovery partition ticked
Another option is to allow MTK Droid Tools to install for you
This method is recommended for those who are unable to root using auto root tools
Method 2.
This method is similar to the first but without the complete backup. I.e. read back is not performed until pre-cache partition
Method 3.
Requires you to be rooted. Easy to install with mobile uncle tools
Method 4.
This method offers an option for touch or non touch CWM.
Thank Sniper47, yulipis, Ranpha, and Louis777 for the guides
