How can I get LTE to work on this phone? RE: Getting LTE on a Chinese Samsung galaxy s5 - cookiedough - 2015-01-01 Sorry. This isn't possible. H+ is the maximum protocol. RE: Getting LTE on a Chinese Samsung galaxy s5 - edcoolio - 2015-01-03 Cookiedough is 100% right. The best you can do is change your default APN for the best connection you can get for your provider. If you are in the USA , the only chance to get anything faster than 2g with one of those clones is to be using ATT (or an Att MVNO like net 10 or straight talk) AND have the 850 WCDMA frequency available on the phone and hopefully the 1900 as well. Check frequencies first before you bother with anything else, because without that, you will are 100%stuck on 2G with that device forever. |
