Can't connect to Toyota Touch&Go Carkit with iNew V3 (1.0.13/Android 4.4.2) - FJP84 - 2014-09-30 Hi there, I need some help in solving my bluetooth issue (if possible). I have a Toyota Auris Hybrid car (2013) with Toyota Touch & Go Plus Navigation and carkit system. I am able to pair my iNew V3 but I am not able to connect. Not for phone and not for media. On a Dutch forum I have read that there are more problems with this navigation system and MTK devices. Snapdragon devices work flawlessly. But thing is, that when I had my Jiayu G3n I have had the same issue with Android 4.0.4. But when I flashed a custom 4.1.2 Rom it worked. I also noticed that on that custom rom I could enter some advanced Bluetooth features like FTP, and SIM Access and that kind of stuff. On my iNew with Android 4.4.2 I was hoping to have the same advanced features but there aren't. On the release notes of Android KitKat I have seen that this Android should support the bluetooth MAP profile. Besides that, I tried to connect my device on a carkit from another brand car and it works out of the box. To wrap this al up: Does someone have experienced this problem also and/or does have a solution for this Bluetooth problem in relation to the Touch&Go NAV System? Or does someone know a Android KitKat rom (my device is rooted) that has more advanced features for Bluetooth? In the meantime I will order a mobile bluetooth handsfree kit for my car. Thanks in advance! FJP84 RE: Can't connect to Toyota Touch&Go Carkit with iNew V3 (1.0.13/Android 4.4.2) - FJP84 - 2014-10-01 I did some additional research. The navigation system supports the following bluetooth profiles: Handsfree equipment - HFP (Hands-Free Profile)
So my question is now: How can I determine which profiles are supported on my iNew v3 (1.0.13 / Android 4.4.2)? |
