Do all phones have 3 axes accelerometers? - PaulDaPigeon - 2014-09-22 I have recently purchased an Mpie 809T mini. When trying to play tilt controlled games (e.g.: My Paper Plane) I could not control the games. I downloaded an accelerometer monitoring app and saw the X and Y axes showed values changing according to the alignment of the phone. The Z axis however constantly remained zero (see attached screenshot of the app, taken while shaking the phone). Now I'm not sure if my phone is broken or it only came with a 2 axes accelerometer (if that's even possible). Please shed some light on the subject. |
