very bad wifi connection - Enzuccio559 - 2013-05-27
Is anything I can do to improve wifi performance? with 3/4 of signal I can't download an app from the market...
Maybe something with engeneering mode?

Try this...it worked for me...
Settings\WiFi\press Properties soft-button\Advanced\remove check from Wi-Fi Optimization.
Then try to see if it helps. Mine is very reliable and responsive since i disabled this.

Thanks. I've already tried it and, even if there was a small improvement, it's still disappointing.
I've tried to install the butterfly effect rom but the baseband is still v6. What rom do you suggest to make wifi works properly?

I really like the one dated May 10 on needrom.com. Stable but also had trouble with WLAN til I unchecked Optimization in the WiFi settings. Just this morning I finally had my fone setup exactly as I like with all features functioning perfectly. i made a backup then flashed the newest Xperia rom dated May 24. I like this one too...also needed to uncheck Optimization. All I can say is that all functions on my S5 are working perfectly with both ROMs.

I also got this problem, I tried to flash other rooms but nothing seems to help.

Here is the same problem with differnet roms, somone a solution or a tip for me ?
