There are minor differences. The M was a follow-on to the original MTK6582.
The Wikipedia link shows slightly different specs in the GPU.

I couldn't find a datasheet for the processor series.

Hi

if this is asked for buying decisions then the answer is yes and main difference is your screen resolution will be inferior on the M.

I do not have the technical expertise to read wiring diagrams but I am sure there is more.

If this is ROM question, never put a ROM designed for a different chipset onto yours.

Can I flash a kernel from another phone with MT6582M onto my Blu Studio 5.0 SII which also has MT6582M? My phone has JB kernel and i want to know if I can flash a LP kernel from another MT6582M device
Please help me
