phantom g-box mx3 - will65mcmanus - 2014-05-17
just bought this box from amazon but have tried everything to update xbmc to gotham without any luck, keeps saying the following
an existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed.
ive tried removing xbmc but cant it was a pre installed and box has no root access

You may have to root and uninstall. The problem is likely that the upgrade carries a different signature key than the existing one. I've had the same issue with apps when included as part of the stock ROM and trying to update them.
