Or how to install them? RE: what about gaming - AndroidVageta - 2013-05-01 Performance is nice. Not mind blowing but it certainly is awesome for the price. My MT6589 phone is a major leap from my Galaxy Note 1. Games like GTA 3 were all but unplayable on my Note (low-medium settings were barely playable with sub ~10-20fps) where as with my new MT6589 power phone I can play the game at max settings at ~30fps or more. So as a gaming device (whether you are looking at a phone or tablet made from the MT6589) it does damn well. Even the newer Unreal powered games run fluidly with no slow down. Actually no game I've played can't run. Now if you are asking how do you get the games you buy them of course! RE: what about gaming - amirulez - 2013-05-03 the gpu is same with galaxy s4 right.. so gaming performance must be awesome.. RE: what about gaming - MaxP101 - 2013-05-04 The gpu(video chip) is the PowerVR SGX544MP. The MP indicates that it is the multi core version of the GPU but doesn't necessarily mean that it has multiple cores or how many. When compared to devices that are known to have 2 cores of this GPU (SGX544MP2) the performance is roughly half of that, logical deduction tells us that we have a single core of the multi core version of the SGX544 in the MTK6589. And although we (probably) have only one core, the performance never comes short when gaming. |
