Both official ROMs, but one is pre-rooted.

The custom rom listed did not work on my S5. Soft-bricked (freeze/loop on startup).
Using the stock ROM also listed did successfully re-install stock firmware. NOTICE: With chinese language!

Did you try wiping caches and factory restore from recovery after installing the ROM?

Yes. Tried pretty much every tutorial and setup I could find. Nothing worked.
Could have been a bad file on my part (Typically ruined it while downloading) although I highly doubt it.
