Found this today, that I would share. But we need to get this guy over to the site.
Apparently a man by the name of Aniruddha Adhikary who works for the Mozilla Foundation discovered how to get CyanogenMod working on his dual sim MTK device as seen on his page.

Not exactly; he says he's trying to implements CM features in a MTK ROM, that's -or at least seems to me- slightly different, but still cool find! Thanks!
