ive done a factory reset now its just showing a green android then goes to the samsung logo then back to android ....help
its not rooted

Can you boot back into recovery? Do you have a backup of the firmware?

left phone on while i went to gym and its now ok , not sure what happened to it ....but thanks for the quick reply

It can take several minutes sometimes on first boot after a factory reset. Not sure if that was the issue or not, but good it's going again.
