Tweaking / Fixing sound using MTK engineering mode - Android-uk - 2013-12-23 Hello, Just wondering if someone could help me with sorting some sound problems with my Timmy E82 china phone. I got the following issues at the moment: - People are having touble hearing me - looking at the settings I think the mic set too low - While speaking to people normally or using headset mode, at the highest setting I get cracking and sound distortion. Headset mode is worse. So it appears to max sound settings are being cracked up too high. I've taken a look but there way too many settings for me to be messing with. So I was wondering if someone to could explain what I need to change? I can provide whatever the default settings are if someone can tell me what they need to know. Thank you RE: Tweaking / Fixing sound using MTK engineering mode - micriches - 2013-12-23 Hi, I've downloaded mobile uncle to fix the microphone levels. I had serious problems with that, during a call the person on the other side can't hear you at all.... There are lots of options in this app, I wonder if there is a web, or manual I can read #### Adjust microphone settings in the phone 1 Install Mobileuncle MTK Tools (Google Play) 2º Enter in to Engineer Mode Menu (MTK) 3º Audio / Normal mode / Type / Mic / Level 4º Set up the 6 levels: Level 0-255 Level 1 to 235 Level 2 to 215 Level 3 to 205 Level 4-195 Level 5 to 185 Level 6-175 * You have to set all levels to value. Every time you go to a level you must push Set and OK. 5º You must presh Ok again before exit app 6º Restart phone. #### RE: Tweaking / Fixing sound using MTK engineering mode - Android-uk - 2013-12-24 Cool, thank you And the headphone issue, any ideas? It is a free app, but I would gladly make donation for it. I recommend trying it as an easy alternative to adjusting multiple volume levels. |
