I9500 mt6589 baseband unknown imei null - orzelbpl - 2013-10-18

Welcome

sorry do not know English, I write through the translator

First post and immediately call for help!
I have a clone s4 I9500
mtk6589 android 4.2.9

Unfortunately, being a layman too much fun.
Now the phone does not detect the sim, no IMEI, baseband unknown
I came to this that there are no files in the directory dev / radio
ICC root Droid & tools as I want to recover the IMEI shows like this:
--- ERROR :dev/radio/pttycmd1 inaccessible , should be Root Shell
--- ERROR :pttycmd1 device NOT found!

you have any ideas or have a paperweight?

R u sure yr phone is rooted, if yes. Then
Yr phone is not totally rooted

Hit the button "root" . Let it run for while. Then u should see the box at the left bottom change to green color. If it did not change after 10 to 15 sec. Then u should see the red wording at the right side of the dialog box saying something like this " root shell is temperately permitted"

Then disconnect yr phone from computer, then reconnect again to the computer. Now u see the box become green. Then u can write yr imei to it

Edit
U mention ICC droid tool, I use MTK droid root & tool

--- ERROR :dev/radio/pttycmd1 inaccessible , should be Root Shell
--- ERROR :pttycmd1 device NOT found!

When the file 'modem.img' is replaced, it is necessary to change anything in the build.prop file? I have installed a file using CWM, anda now I have enabled the 850 and 1900 bands that did not have before, but the phone can't connect to the 3G network. I have HDC Galaxy i9500. Please some help.

Just because you see them enabled in engineering mode doesn't mean they're usable.

It's extremely unlikely your phone's radio has a band tuned to 1900. If it's a cheap clone, it probably only has 2100. Changing modem.img won't help with that.

I've used IMEI&SN Writer on my Zte v965. I used the BPL file twice, including APDB , yet IMEI is peremanent now. I tested it with SPtool and restored a rom and worked like original.
